You make sure everything is handled. But your own needs start to fade into the background. And slowly, quietly, you feel yourself becoming less vibrant. Less you.

If this resonates, you're not alone. And you don't need a dramatic reset to feel brighter again. You can start with small, intentional practices that help you reconnect with who you are.

There was a time in my life when I felt faded. With two young children in the house, I felt like I'd forgotten part of myself. But gentle practices, like mindfulness and gratitude, helped me remember what mattered to me. And carving out even small pockets of time for those things helped me get my spark back. That experience shapes the work I share now.

My work is also shaped by my background as a mindfulness and meditation teacher and my career as an academic philosopher. Mindfulness and meditation help train our attention while philosophy teaches us to think carefully about what we believe and why it matters. Together, they inform how I approach this work. Not as quick inspiration or over-simplified self care advice, but as steady practices designed to hold up in real life.

If you're finding your way back to yourself, welcome! And if you're looking for a gentle way to begin, I invite you to try this 20-minute guided practice.

With best wishes
